Concerning this particular issues, India Bans PUBG Mobile while the Ministry reported that it has received complaints that some applications steal and unexpectedly transfer consumer data to unauthorised servers outside India.

The games on the banned list are:

  • Tencent’s PUBG Mobile
  • Arena of Valor
  • Knives Out

Last year, some of the Indian cities also banned the battle royale game as it was distracting students and teenagers from their studies and due to a fear for the violent behaviour in young generation. However, The Ministry of India did not make any specifications and statement against the Chinese applications but it is quite clear that this move is taken for the elevating tensions between both India and China.
