Pokemon Go was launched in 2016 and since then it is undoubtedly one of the best augmented reality mobile games available on the gaming market. It had billion of downloads and revenue worldwide with millions of users.

As we all know, Pokemon Go encourages its players to perform various tasks outside the venture. Since the Coronavirus outbreak, healthcare officials are forcing people to sit indoors as many countries have opted for a serious lockdown.


Niantic encourages its players by providing in-game bonuses every month by holding community days but to limit the COVID-19 outbreak, Niantic postponed Community Day & Safari event of March in the wake of COVID-19.


When a Twitter user asked John, how about if every player got an emergency stop until the COVID-19 crisis is over? The CEO of Niantic, John Hanke has stated that the entire team is planning for some adjustments to the game which can be seen soon.


In an official tweet, developer Niantic Labs wrote,

However, players are expecting good news from Niantic group with regard to Incense bundles and bonuses in this COVID-19 season.


Pokemon Go is now only available to some selective regions on Android and Ios.
