Thatgamecompany along with their partners of Sky: Children of the Light, Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF), and OneTreePlanted has successfully raised $1 Million in support to frontline workers. Sky Global Community helped the company to achieve this goal by purchasing a special flower pack in the ‘Days of Healing’ campaign in-game.

How Sky Global Community Raised Funds?

This initiative is implemented in response to the COVID 19 pandemic and prevailed throughout the four-week campaign. The company raised $1,027,340 and donated 100% of the net amount to MSF. The initiative also emphasized the #PlayApartTogether gaming trend to get competitive gamers together while socially distanced.

The company’s Executive Director, Avril Benoit told that they are pleased to become a medium for this cause. And Doctors Without Borders are extremely grateful for the support and generosity. Jenova Chen, Co-Founder of thatgamecompany added that we are pleased by the response of the campaign got by its Sky global community.
