• Pokemon Go Events
The first Pokémon Go season has already begun and with that the celebration of the season. Pokémon Go is one of the most popular games on mobile. Niantic is always known for adding new content and hosting new game events. Now the company is hosting the season of celebration. The celebration has already started from December 1, 2020, and will remain active till March 1, 2021.
December Community Day: This year community day Is scheduled for December 12-13, 2020. The event will feature more and more Pokémon’s in the wilds and raids.
Kalos Celebration Event: This event is already started on December 2 and will go on till December 8. Here you will find Pokemons of the Kalos region, hatching from eggs and appear in raids.
• Predator Gaming League (PGL)- Dec 3rd
Predator Gaming League (PGL) is all set to embark on its biggest esports tournament in India. This annual entertainment experience draws thousands of players and viewers for the whole of this month. This time Acer will also introduce Valorant along with the usual PUBG tournaments.
Both the games have a huge fan following and with the introduction of Valorant into the Indian e-sports community, both esports and PGL are expected to witness terrific growth. First time in the history of esports, PGL is also adding a tournament dedicated to women to nurture the women gamers.
• Africa Games Week 2020- (Dec 3rd-4th)
This immersive event includes game makers from across Africa and other professionals from the game industry around the world. There will be B2B seminars, conferences, and presentations on 3-4 December 2020, where business experts will be interested. There will also be a Q&A session to learn more about the African gaming industry.

• World Gaming Executive Summit (WGES)- (Dec 8th-9th)
World Gaming Executive Summit (WGES) is scheduled to take place on December 8-9. This time the virtual edition is sponsored by ORYX Gaming. The digital edition of the most exclusive iGaming Conference in Europe will be attended by executives from around the globe at two-day sessions, roundtables, workshops, and networking events. This event is meant to attribute game industry officials to a wide range of game subjects and developments as a means of exciting and interesting discussions.
• CGC/DAPP- (Dec 10th-11th)
The 10th Edition of Fun & Serious Game Festival is all set to go for a virtual event format. The event will be online and can be streamed live from any part of the world. The event will cater to a broadly ranging crowd, from video game enthusiasts, who will be able to hear more about the creation of their favorite games, to experts, as well as video game production and creation students. The conversations of these main industry experts will be highly beneficial to get an understanding of the creative process of the game industry.
• The Game Awards- (Dec 12th)
The Game Awards Show is the biggest celebration event that features the most appreciated and the best video games and esports. The event is produced by Geoff Keighley and will take place on 12th December where Eddie Vedder will give his performance that will stream on all major video platforms. Games Aid Comedy Nights is a ‘Stay at Home Comedy Event’ which is partnered among GamesAid Patron, Imran Yusuf- Stand-up comedian, and Improv Crew. The event focuses to support GamesAid which is a Game industry charity that supports disadvantaged young people across the UK.
