The event of Gamescom Asia was originally scheduled in Singapore from 15-18 October but now the Gamescom Asia Event postponed to 2021. It has been pushed back due to the rising number of coronavirus issues. Now it is scheduled to take place in Singapore Suntec Convention and Exhibition Centre from 14-17 October 2021.
This statement was released by Mathis Kuepper, the managing director of Gamescom Asia that the global pandemic led to the delay of Gamescom Asia event, and all of the show’s partners, influencers plus the Singapore government is not ready to host this event due to security reasons.
This event was supposed to mark the inaugural event of Gamescom Asia and thereby we are willing to give an amazing experience to all regional community and nothing less than the former, he added.
The goal of this event is to showcase the talent & game of game developers and bring publishers from all across the globe to scale and evolve in the video game industry.
