Unity Software, the video game technology provider, announces the introduction of a Game Growth Program to help free mobile game title players scale a title in exchange for a 50/50 share of sales revenue until spending is restored.
All About Game Growth Program:
The Game Growth Program gives developers access to resources, technology, and user acquisition funding. Developers could send their games and Unity can partner with them to implement a player commitment plan, if chosen. This approach of Game Growth Program would comprise acquisition campaigns for users, in-app purchases, and user or player analytics.
According to information reported by Unity, active application candidates maintain full intellectual property ownership and are not bound by a permanent revenue sharing arrangement. The step marks Unity’s latest attempts to fund its operational solutions, which, according to the S-1 filing for its newly released US$1.3 billion IPO in 2009, accounted for the majority (54 percent).
