Ghost of Tsushima is the first major PlayStation 4 to make its debut in the United Kingdom sales charts, much like its competitor last month. Sucker Punch Production‘s new open-world experience struggled to come close to The Last of Us: Part II, but still a rather good outcome for Sony, which may be another major achievement. The website reports that Ghost’s physical sales at launch were seven percent higher.

Last week there were no more games in the list, but Forza Horizon 3 is rising to No. 26 in the top 40 and Super Mario is also back on No. 29.The spirited sales of Tsushima were four times higher than those of the other new game on the charts – Paper Mario: the King of Origami for Nintendo Switch. The comedy adventure game is still at No.2 and its sales are higher in its first week than the release of two last combined Paper Mario games (2016 ‘s Paper Mario: Color Splash Wii U and 2012 ‘s Paper Mario: Sticker Star on 3DS).

Indeed, its first week of sales beat Super Paper Mario in 2007, making this new game the most rapidly sold Paper Mario ever. Furthermore, there are no download sales so the Turn play is possibly larger than its Wii predecessor.
