The Last of Us Part 2 might get an update and developers, Naughty Dog revealed some upcoming new modes . The return of ‘Grounded Mode’ from original game and a permadeath option. In The Last of Us Part 2, developers has made a really difficult mode in Grounded option.
Grounded option will be hyper-complex as this mode will have three times more damages from the opponent, eliminates Listen Mode (the device for monitoring enemies in the vicinity), eliminates HUD, and doesn’t deliver supplies. Checkpoints are fewer as well. There are 2 Ultra-Rare PlayStation® trophies for players who are looking for some real challenge. Permadeath mode will most probably remove any manual save points and other tools when you die.

Players can also enable permadeath mode in The Last of Us Part 2 according to the DLC update. For other games, permadeath implies a single death failure — that players must begin at the start if they die. This trophy is intended for players who complete the story about “any permadeath setting” which means that players can apply the permadeath to various types of difficulty. However, it is currently unclear when Naughty Dog will launch these two modes.
