Minecraft is an amazing game. And if you love it as much as we do, here are ten games that you should absolutely try!
So, once again, we went looking for games that would resemble Minecraft but also have something that sets it apart from the later. We were not completely disappointed and actually came across some games that we really loved.
We also got a chance to reacquaint ourselves with some of the games that we loved but hadn’t had the time to get back to in a while. We have finally settled on ten games that we feel Minecraft lovers will absolutely love.
Take a look at the ten games that we feel every Minecraft lover should absolutely try.
Cube World is a voxel based RPG. The game takes place in a procedurally generated world that is massive. Players can choose to be one of four different classes, namely, Mage, Rouge, Ranger or Warrior and get started on their journey in the game. We felt that several features of the game, while unique, gave us a distinct feel that it is a lot like Minecraft in several aspects.

Minecraft players are bound to be quite familiar with the experience of spiders and skeletons skittering about them while they stay hidden, huddling in a shelter they have built hastily. Don’t Starve is basically an entire game that has been developed keeping in mind that exact feeling and the fear. Fear plays a very significant role in the game and surviving and struggling for food forms the basis of the game. This uncompromising survival game, we say, is totally worth your time.

Fortnite: Save The World
Most of us know and love Fortnite. But there are many who haven’t tried their hand at the game mode that actually started this phenomenon. Fortnite: Save The World mode is a sandbox mode that allows players to build anything that their heart wants. We came across this while looking for games that give the Minecraft feels. And now we hope we get some valuable Fortnite lessons on the go, as well.

No Man's Sky
No Man’s Sky had a rough start. However, the developers have worked very hard on the game to make it one of the best premier exploration games that are currently available. Players have the chance to explore an innumerable (quite literally) number of star systems. With the Beyond update that adds full multiplayer to the game, there is lots to do in this game. We feel, everyone and not just Minecraft lovers will love this one.

Roblox is more of a gaming platform and game creation system. The free to play platform has hundreds, if not thousands of users created games that are engaging and fun to play. The platform has something for everyone. And we highly recommend it for everyone and not just for Minecraft lovers.

Taking place in a procedurally generated, 2D universe, Starbound could very well be a sci-fi 2D equivalent of Minecraft. The game however, is not too attached to any one particular location. Players will be starting out with a spaceship and instead of building a permanent base, they’ll be able to travel between planets and experience the cosmos. We had fun with this one and hope you would too.

Stardew Valley is probably the most interesting find on this list of ours, we think. The game allows you to do a little of almost everything. The main objective of this game is to tend and fix the farm that you have inherited from your grandfather. However, things are never boring here. You get to mine, cook, fish, get married and even more. If you love Minecraft like we do, you should give this one a try. We bet it will grow on you.

Terraria would most essentially, at first glance, look like a side scroller, 2D version of Minecraft. However, while the two have quite a few similar features that make the later so loved, Terraria still has enough that allows it to retain its own character and sets it apart, quite distinctly, if we may say so. We think you should give this one a definite try.

An action MMO, in Trove, players have to fight the forces of Shadow. They get to experience the various realms that are completely destructible. In their journeys and quests, players get to collect items and encounter dungeons that have been developed by the players of the game, themselves. The more you play this one, like Minecraft, the more it starts feeling like the world in the game, starts resembling your own.
