Wanted: Dead is being developed by former Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden developers.
The publishers 110 Industries announced a host of new upcoming games. Aside from releasing very short teasers for the mech game Vengeance Is Mine and the sci-fi racer game Red Goes Faster, a trailer was also released for an action game, Wanted: Dead. The game’s trailer also included about twenty seconds of actual gameplay.
Publisher 110 Industries announced that the game development studio Soleil are developing this new fast paced, third person game. The studio comprises of veterans from Team Ninja who had worked on franchises such as Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden. The team has cited Devil May Cry and Bayonetta as their inspirations for the game.

Key members of the team at Soleil consist of ex-employees from Team Ninja who had left Temco in 2008 along with Tomonobu Itagaki, the Team Ninja boss. This includes all senior developers who had worked on games such as DOA, DOA2, DOA Xtreme Beach Volleyball, Ninja Gaiden, Ninja Gaiden II, including director Hiroaki Matsui, lead planner Natsuki Tsurugai and producer Yoshifuru Okamoto.
Set in a sci-fi, low tech Hong Kong, the game would give players a chance tomaster their combat skills with guns as well as melee weapons, which also includes a katana. The team stated that the game would consist of “an in-depth investigative side where players must analyze evidence and dive into real police work”.
