Age of Empires 4 Set to Launch Autumn 2021

During a livestream of a fan event last Saturday, Relic Entertainment revealed that one the most loved real-time strategy-based games’ upcoming sequel Age of Empire 4 is coming this autumn.
Age of Empire 4 is set to launch on PC, Xbox Game Pass for PC and via Steam. It’s closed beta trail has already been started. If you want to be a part of their latest updates, sign-up for their ‘Age of Empires Insider Community’ here!

During livestream, Age of Empire 4’s gameplay was also showcased where there will be 4 campaign mode with one specifically focused on Norman Conquest. Alongside, 4 new campaigns , players will be able to start of with 8 civilizations, one of which is Delhi Sultanate from India. With war elephants, complex gameplay, toughened mechanics, Relic Entertainment’s primary aim is to create different & playable civilizations on Age of Empire 4.

So far, Age of Empires ‘ developers have announced 4 civilization, Chinese, Delhi Sultanate, English and Mongols.
Few another unique changes that were shown was that your unit can now hide in certain areas for ambush, the army cheers when they win, more realistic human, animal and war movements.

The official brief of Norman campaign:

“The Norman campaign will tell the story of Duke William of Normandy as he wrestles control of England from King Harold, starting at the Battle of Hastings, then later following his descendants Robert, William II, and Henry I as they continue to fight for what would become modern day England. All the classic medieval units were shown here in action, from knights on horseback engaging with pikemen across large fields of battle capped off with a great looking castle siege.”
