In the first wave of games, EA launches 25+ games on Steam including titles from indie development partners, award-winning RPG games, action games, shooter games, etc. Some of the featured games in this list are- Dragon Age: Inquisition, Dragon Age II, Need for Speed Heat, Need for Speed Rivals, Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville and more.
The popular games which are absent include, The Sims 4, Battlefield, Apex Legends, Battlefront II, or the Battlefield V. Additional games will be available on steam to players later this summer.
A banner with no specific date- “Coming soon to Steam” is showing in all the other game listings on steam. This seems to be simply the basic version of the service, which gives you access to trials for new games, as well as a ‘vault’ of old titles.
Origin Access Premiere – the service’s top tier version – also provides access to brand-new games on day one, but while EA Access was available on other platforms, including Xbox One and PlayStation 4, the ‘Premiere’ was never offered outside of Origin.
