Fortnite’s next music series will be featuring artists from all over the globe.

Epic Games has announced the next music event that will be occurring in the world of Fortnite. The event titled the Soundwave Series; will be featuring artists from all over the globe. The company has announced that the players will be able to experience the artist’s music in-game, in an interactive manner.

This isn’t going to be the first of such an event. And Epic is known to organize musical performances for the players, in-game. In the past, the company has collaborated with big names in the music industry, such as Ariana Grande, J Balvin and Travis Scott, for grand shows and even concerts on the game’s party royale island.

Epic Games has been working continuously towards providing the players of with signature and unique experiences, in the Creative Mode, with the help of its community. In the past, the company had hosted events such as Balenciaga Themed Strange Times Hub and the Easy Life Virtual Concert. It is being expected that the Soundwave Series will be continuing this same trend.

The first show in the series will be kicking off at 2:00 PM ET on October 1, 2021 and will be available for players to experience till 2:00 PM ET on October 3, 2021. The show will be featuring the Egyptian star Mohamed Hamaki.

Catch Mohamed Hamaki In The Soundwave Series On Fortnite Starting October 1, 2021

Players will be able to view this event through methods. They can jump into a dedicated playlist to experience it. Or they can watch it via a picture in picture mode during a typical battle royale mode. In the past, this picture in picture mode has been used for showing competitive Fortnite, in-game. The feature will, however, be available only during select times during the 48 hours during which the Hamaki concert will be streamed.

With this new series, it seems that this is Epic’s next step towards making Fortnite more than just a game. These concerts would not just be yet another thing that the players can do or experience within the game. The picture in picture mode during such events could very well lead to players stay hooked on the game instead of looking at other apps for their music needs.

Mohamed Hamaki will be the first artist to perform for the Soundwave Series. The line-up of artists to feature in this set of series include Japanese music producer and pop artist Gen Hoshino, Australian singer and songwriter Tones And I, the French Malian singer Aya Nakamura and Brazilian rapper Emicida.
