One Grand Theft Auto Online player was unlucky enough to be hit by a weird gate glitch in the game that caused them to ‘explode’!

Grand Theft Auto Online Gate Glitch Weirdly Kills Players In Cayo Perico- Inner

Grand Theft Auto Online from Rockstar Games is a highly engaging and need we even say popular, multiplayer experience. And that is because the game is just filled to brim with expansive content and an extraordinary amount of detail that is just waiting for the players to dive into and explore.

Diverse NPCs, expansive open world, the action crime title from Rockstar has a lot going in its favour, right from the moment a player chooses to dive into it! Grand Theft Auto Online allows the players the ability to build up their very own criminal enterprises, the way the want to. However, we would not be doing justice to the game if we do not mention the funny glitches that are in store for the unsuspecting players and often leave everyone in general and the game’s community in particular, in splits or quite frankly stunned.

First released in 2013, Grand Theft Auto Online still has such a dedicated community that keeps on growing and expanding. The reason behind this is because the developers are consistent in adding content to entertain its players on a regular basis. The Cayo Perico Heist expansion that released in 2020 was much acclaimed and gave the players a whole lot more to explore and experience in the online mode.

The Cayo Perico Heist had the Grand Theft Auto Online players assigned to help the business owner Miguel Madrazo, by extracting some information from a drug lord in Cayo Perico. However, a certain player’s experience on this particular heist was not something that the developers would have wanted the game’s players to witness or even experience.

Grand Theft Auto Online Player Encounters Weird Gate Glitch At Cayo Perico

A short thirteen second long video posted on Reddit by user thedogylt on the game’s online subreddit, has left several gamers stunned, confused and amused, in equal measures. The video clip starts at the stage of the heist when the player has been tasked with scoping out the Cayo Perico heist. Things, however, take a quick nosedive to worse when thedogylt suddenly randomly gets blown up while trying to exit one of the defence towers in the island via its entrance gate.

This hilarious clip draws to a close with a quite literally “bloody” finale. The player nose dives into the grass below and on cue the standard “Wasted” flashes on the screen indicating that the game is over. The video, soon after getting uploaded, has received more than 200 upvotes on the platform as well as some replies.

It seems that what happened to user thedogylt is most probably something that would happen to players, once in a blue moon, if at all. However, this is not the first time that such a strange glitch has happened on Grand Theft Auto Online, and rest assured that it will not be the last time either.

Grand Theft Auto Online developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games is available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation® 4 and PlayStation® 5.
