Microsoft is Closing Stores- What will be the consequence?

The closure of its physical locations will cause a pre-tax charge of $450 M ended June 30. The company has also planned to open four Microsoft Experience Centers in London, Sydney, New York, and Washington campus to assist all customers with support.

The company stated that the revenues have grown exponentially digitally with increasingly digital products and with the support to all customers beyond physical boundaries.

The Microsoft Store is Apple’s successful footprint as each store is dedicated to hardware like PCs, Xbox, and more. To avoid the unnecessary surge of COVID—19 cases Microsoft took this decision. However, the company is soon to launch Xbox Series X in this season.
