After it’s initial trailer release back in September 2020, Prince of Persia’s remake faced a lot of criticism toward it’s gameplay. The official trailer stands at more dislikes to likes ratio. Since then, the developers have been pushing its release date. The game was supposedly set to launch on 18th March 2021 but now developers have announced delay in it’s release. This game is being developed by Ubisoft Pune and Mumbai and has been postponed twice before this update.
In a tweet from Ubisoft they said, ‘As you might already read, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake will not be in Ubisoft Forward. We are making great progress for our game to release next year, but we are not ready to share any additional information just yet. We will share an update as we soon as are ready’.
The games’ brief gives out an idea on how the game is going to be, “The Prince is back! Remade for the first time by Ubisoft, relive this legendary tale, or discover it new for the first time. Embark on a journey as the Prince to save your kingdom from the treacherous Vizier, in this timeless classic.”
