Samsung announced its video game platform, the Samsung Gaming Hub at the CES 2022. The manufacturer announced that this will be available on some of its smart TVs that will be releasing in 2022, along with the sets that were announced at the CES.

Although there has been no announcement regarding when the service will be available, the Samsung Gaming Hub will be launching, sometime around 2022. Samsung smart TV owners will be able to avail the gaming hub by pressing the “gaming” button on their TV’s main navigation. Once they have accessed the app, they will be able to browse through popular game titles as well as their recently played games. In addition to that, they will also be able to directly access services such as Nvidia GeForce Now, Google Stadia and others, all at one place.

As of now, Samsung has partnerships with three gaming services. Along with Nvidia GeForce and Google Stadia that will bring their entire cloud gaming libraries to the video game platform, Samsung also has a partnership with the indie subscription service, Utomik. Utomik’s subscription service brings to players smaller titles from publishers such as Raw Fury and THQ Nordic. The manufacturer noted that these partnerships are just the beginning for its services.

The Samsung Gaming Hub Will Be Bringing Multiple Cloud Gaming Services To A Central Hub!

The Samsung Gaming Hub will also be featuring a marketplace. Players will be able to buy games here, within the hub. Once purchased, the players will be able to instantly launch these games on their TV.

Letting players access games will not be the only function of the Samsung Gaming Hub. In addition to that, it will also integrate with YouTube Gaming, thus allowing the viewers to be able to watch their favourite content creators. It will also the players to pair their controllers with the service. However, it is not clear yet whether any controller will be compatible with the service, at the time of the launch.
