Sony Pictures Entertainment revealed a new trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home. And it confirms a lot of things we have been guessing so far.

Spider-Man No Way Home New Trailer Reveals A New Mission And A Bunch Of Old Villains- Inner

Just a month to go for Spider-Man: No Way Home to arrive in theatres all across the world. And Sony Pictures Entertainment has released a new trailer, right on the heels of the new poster, they had released earlier.

The poster in question had raised a lot of questions and even answered a few. The biggest question being, what were all the villains that Spidey will be encountering, in this instalment? We too, like everyone else, had placed our bets, and it looks this new trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home did answer some more of our questions.

In addition to getting a better idea of which villains from the Spiderverse we will be getting to see, we also got a more solid idea of what Peter Parker’s mission will be in Spider-Man: No Way Home. In Dr. Strange’s words, all these villains are from different universes, and they are absolutely not supposed to be in this universe, and all of them are destined to die. Which, if you know Peter Parker, even in the least, is totally not down with.

The new trailer heavily features Dr. Octopus and at one point of time, in the trailer, when he has Spider-Man in his clutches, says, “You are not Peter Parker.” Nevertheless, we see no hint, hair or web of Tobey Maguire or even Andrew Garfield in the trailer, although the villains from their respective Spider-Man movies, feature in the same. And if they really are a part of the movie, it is, so far, a very well-kept secret.

We were guessing, ever since Tom Hardy’s Venom popped up in the Spiderverse, right at the end of Venom: Let There Be Carnage, in the post credits scene, that Eddie Brock/Venom too could be one of the villains in the movie. However, that too does not seem very likely, as far as this new trailer suggests.

Once again, the trailer, just like the poster did, the latest trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home left more questions than answers. And in case you are still looking for the answers, all you can do, is wait for December 17, 2021 to arrive because that is when the movie is set to arrive in theatres.
