On March 24, the Blockchain Contents Association (BCA) revealed it had written new recommendations to comply with gambling laws and web scams. The BCA seeks to encourage user security for all services dependent on blockchains, like games and social media.
The recommendations of the Tokyo-based group were her first effort to help players of blockchain games escape indiscretions. The guidelines also cover issues related to Japan’s gaming industry regarding misleading and unexpected acts. The association points out virtual currency rewards and tokens as illegal.
Hironao Kunimitsu, president of the BCA commented on the BCA’s actions:
“Through the new guidelines, we aim to help our users use content with peace of mind and contribute to the healthy development of the blockchain contents industry in Japan.”
However, this move is a great step in blockchain gaming and cryptocurrency regulation to ensure the growth of the industry.
