The Olympics are over. And the sporting season all across the world have officially begun! And sports enthusiasts are having their best time. For this weekend, we have picked up some of the choicest video game series that any sports enthusiast who also loves video games should try.

Here is our list of video games series that we think every sports enthusiast must try:

5. WWE 2K

Number 5 on our list is one of our very favourites, WWE 2K. This series also known as the WWE SmackDown! series, is a series of video games based on the popular professional wrestling show WWE. The premise of the games is to closely emulate the wrestlers, match types and storylines from the show and improvements over the previous instalments. The first game in the series was WWF Smackdown!, and was released in March, 2000. The latest game in this series is WWE 2K Battlegrounds, and was released in September, 2020.

4. F1

Next on our list and at number 4 is the racing video game series F1. Based on the international auto racing for single seater cars, F1 also known as Formula 1, this series of video games are once something that every sports enthusiast, especially those that are interested in Formula 1 racing and video games should definitely try out. The first game of the series, F 1 2000 came out in 2000 and the latest instalment F1 2021 released in 2021.

3. Tony Hawk

On number 3 is a game series that we find entertaining as well as interesting, Tony Hawk. This video game series is named after the legendary American professional skateboarder Tony Hawk and endorsed by him as well. The game series is based on the sport Skateboarding. The first game in the series Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater came out in 1999 and the latest game Tony Hawk’s Skate Jam came out in 2018. This was followed by the release of the high definition remakes of the first two games, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 in 2020. This is one franchise that will not disappoint you!

Featuring at number 2 is the very popular game series Pro Evolution Soccer (to be known as eFootball) also known as Winning Eleven in Japan. The series as the name suggests is based on the sport Association Football also known as Soccer. The first game in the series, J. League Jikkyou Winning Eleven, was released in 1995. The European version of the game Pro Evolution Soccer was released in 2001. The latest in the series is eFootball PES 2020 that released in 2020. In case you are still feeling sceptical about this one, we assure you, you’ll love it!

We finally come to number 1 on our list. And the position is taken by none other than the widely popular soccer based sport themed video game series FIFA 2K. This game too like the previous one is based on the sport Association Football also known as Soccer. The first game FIFA International Soccer released in 1993. And the latest game FIFA 21 was released in 2020.
