The SteelSeries Nimbus+ releases for iOS

SteelSeries Nimbus+ releases on Apple’s website for $69.99 and thereafter on May 26th it will come to the SteelSeries webshop as well. The company’s latest gaming controller is only made for Apple devices such as iPhone, iPad, iPod and comes with some exciting new features that include clickable joysticks (R3 joysticks) which will have a 50-hour battery life on a single charge. This controller is initially being offered by Apple and will arrive soon on the SteelSeries website.

Like the Nimbus controller, the Nimbus Plus controller also charges with a lightning connector i.e you can charge this controller using the same cable used for your iOS devices. This controller also comes with an iPhone (MFi) certification. This certification enables third-party to take advantage of button mapping features (L3). Other than this, SteelSeries Nimbus+ comes with several features that will make you play games on your iPhone, iPad, macOS, Apple TV easily.  

Nimbus plus

This SteelSeries Nimbus+ can be essentially called an iOS version of stratus Duo which is compatible with Android and Windows devices. They have a similar controller design including ‘Menu’ and ‘Home’ buttons. SteelSeries Nimbus+ controller will be available on its website from May 26th.


You can also purchase Nimbus+ now on Apple’s website for $69.99 which is $20 more than the Nimbus controller and $10 more than Android and windows controller status duo.
