This game is knocked off from steam with no explanation or public statement from the publishers and makers. But the spectators are predicting this is because of international license issue to Freddy Krueger reversal from Warner Bros who is the publisher of Mortal Kombat’s game. Other reasons may include expired music rights, network change, etc.

This resulted in shut down of PS3 servers of the game. It is done at the request of the publisher, as when players visit the official game’s steam page, they encountered a notice describing the same. While the players who already have Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition can play through offline modes.

Earlier in 2015, Mortal Kombat Arcade collection has also been suddenly removed from steam. However, Other series including Mortal Kombat 11, 2019’s game remain unaffected from this act.

Well, this is an under question that when will a new version of Mortal Kombat will return to Steam.
