Ahead of EA acquiring Codemasters for $1.2 billion, players are looking forward to see what changes do developers make to keep F1 the one of the best ‘Simulation Racing Game’. Codemasters have confirmed to release F1 2021 for PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X/s, Xbox One and PC (Steam) on July 16th .
Ahead of the trailer, a new career story mode ‘Breaking Point’ will let the players live thought the racing lifestyle starting from Formula 2 to Formula 1. Career mode will also allow two player option to play with friends, team up or compete with designated assists and controls. Currently, there are no updates for cross-play support. However, the trailer does not reveal much details about gameplay, we a hope EA’s logo adds now direction to this game.
There is a “Real-Season Start” career mode that follows the outcome of the real-world Grand Prix races and allows the player to take it forward for the remaining races in order to mould the virtual championship rankings in their favour. As a result, the championship battle in Abu Dhabi is likely to go to the wire. Other noticeable details revealed for F1® 2021 is the inclusion of Imola, Portimao and Jeddah race circuits along with 22 tracks.
