This year is no different as we wait for October 1, 2021 to arrive and with it the official release for this year’s instalment, FIFA 22. Good news arrived for fans yesterday, when EA released a ten hour long early access trail for subscribers of EA Play and EA Play Pro for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation® 4 and PlayStation® 5.
The FIFA 22 Official Gameplay Trailer
Players will now be able to access and play the game, long before the official release of the game. All they need to do, to get access to the early access trail is have a subscription to EA Play or even EA Play Pro. Players who do not have a subscription so far, can get one and only at a minimal cost of 99 cents.
In a recent tweet, it was announced that “New members can join EA Play today for only 99 cents the first month on Xbox and PlayStation”. Moreover, members will be able to avail a 10% discount on their in-game purchases and several other FIFA 22 exclusive benefits. Once the players have paid for their subscription, they can head over to EA Play on their consoles, and search for the early access trial for FIFA 22. Once they find it, they can start the download.
The trail is only a ten hour long one. However, for players who have pre-purchased the game, progress made in this trial will be carried over once the game releases on October 1, 2021 (Standard Edition) or September 27, 2021 (Ultimate Edition). It must also be noted that players will still have to purchase the complete game, once the trail period has expired.

Players must keep in mind that the trail is only ten hours long. And every time they log in to play, the timer will keep on ticking. It is thus advisable that for players who want to make the most of this trial and get ahead in the game, they completely quit the game. This will allow them to get the most of this opportunity, especially with the Ultimate Edition coming out four days prior to the Standard Edition.
FIFA 22 developed by EA Vancouver and EA Romania and published by EA Sports is the latest in the ongoing football simulation video game franchise by EA, FIFA. The Standard Edition of the game will be releasing on October 1, 2021. The Ultimate Edition of the game, however, will be releasing four days prior to the Standard Edition, i.e., September 27, 2021. The game will be available for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Google Stadia, PlayStation® 4 and PlayStation® 5. The game is available for pre-order now.
