When Microsoft confirmed that Gears 5 will be getting a full visual upgrade for Xbox Series X, it got a lot of Gears franchise fans excited. Gears 5 developers The Coalition, revealed in Unreal livestream that some of the new visual features may be added for its Xbox Series X version. Some may say these upgrade is rather copied from the PC. Here is the list of upgrades that are expected in Gears 5 Xbox Series X edition.
Higher resolution texture
Improved anisotropic filtering
Higher-resolution volume fog
Higher quality depth of field
Extremely far draw distances with high level of object detail
Shadow resolution and shadow distance
High-quality screen-space reflections
Post processing improvements like bloom, lens flare, light shafts, etc.
Microsoft’s Gears 5 May Support 120 FPS Multiplayer
Gears 5 Expanded in 4 K 30FPS, Xbox One X games, however, the updated version of Xbox Series X of Gears 5 would make real time videos even more glorious with 4 K 60FPS. Along with all the upgrades mentioned above, The Coalition is now working on Gears 5 to make 120FPS multiplayer available to its players. But the question that rises is will that all be in 4K?
