Fans of the Halo franchise have long since been waiting for a definite release date for the latest in the series. Following the initial delay in the release of the game in August, 2020, there has been much anticipation surrounding the same.

In this time, the developers continuously kept the fans interested by continuously posting updates and previews from the game. The company also organized the first technical preview for thousands of players, on July, 2021.
Halo Infinite Multiplayer: Season 1 Cinematic Intro
There were rumours doing the rounds surrounding the release date and many were expecting the game to release soon. However, fans might have to wait a little longer than expected since Microsoft confirmed the release date for Halo Infinite to be December 8, 2021.
Halo Infinite: Multiplayer Reveal Trailer
The multiplayer component and the single player campaign for the game are being marketed separately. However, both will be releasing on December 8, 2021, albeit, separately. The single player campaign will be debuting on Xbox Game Pass. However, the multiplayer component will be free to play.
This announcement was followed by the launch of an Xbox Series X controller that has been themed around the game. This will be available as a bundle consisting of an ultra-high-speed HDMI cable, a copy of the game and a matching controller. The bundle is now available for pre-order in the Microsoft Store.
