Exciting soundtracks and sports games have often gone hand in hand. Players often get to experience some great and fresh soundtracks at the start of the season. However, with the speed at which fresh songs keeps coming out, as the season progresses, we soon get tired of the set soundtrack. NBA 2K22 is looking to remedy that for us, hopefully.

This little prayer of ours, for fresher soundtracks, was heard by those at 2K Sports, the publishers for the franchise. They have decided to step up their game and take it to a whole new level. For NBA 2k22, the company has upgraded its 2K Beats program. The company plans on dropping fresh songs and content throughout the season so players have a lot to look forward to.

With some big artists lined up, 2K Sports promises to take players through a unique experience which combines the best of music, pop culture and video gaming. Some of the artists to feature in the soundtrack for the NBA2K22 are Megan Thee Stallion, NAS, Doja Cat, Travis Scott, and many more. The idea behind this project is to introduce some of the biggest names in the music industry along with some newer upcoming artists. Find the initial playlist announced by NBA here.

The soundtrack for NBA 2K22 will keep on updating and fresh tracks will be added to it as the season progresses. It is hoped that this “dynamic soundtrack” solves the issue of players complaining about the soundtracks that get boring within a few days. It has also been noticed that of the artists featured in the soundtracks, do not leave a lasting impact on the players. With this move, 2K Sports ushers in a new age of sport video games.

NBA 2K22, developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports is set for release on September 10, 2021. The game will be available for Apple Arcade, PC, PlayStation® 5, PlayStation® 4, Google Stadia, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
