Yesterday, we wrote about the hints that WB Games were dropping about their upcoming ‘Multiversus’ games. And now, after months of leaks and speculations, they have finally announced and revealed a first look of their game titles ‘Multiversus’.
The game is an all new free-to-play arena brawler game that features iconic characters from other popular Warner Bros entities. Multiversus is a ‘2v2’ team-based platform fighter game. The game is developed by Player First Games and is scheduled to release with full cross-play support. WB Games have also announced that the game will have a dedicated server-based rollback netcde with content-filled seasons.
President of Warner Bros. Games, David Haddad said, “With MultiVersus we are creating a distinct competitive game that allows us to combine a deep roster of celebrated WarnerMedia franchises for gamers to enjoy.”. “We are partnering with the talented team at Player First Games to bring together a free-to-play, online platform fighter with a wealth of iconic characters that fans know and love, from Wonder Woman and Bugs Bunny to Shaggy and Arya from Game of Thrones. And this is just the beginning, as we are excited to support upcoming seasons and ongoing game content.”

- Wonder Woman and Harley Quinn (DC Super Heroes & DC Super-Villains)
- Shaggy (Scooby-Doo); Bugs Bunny (Looney Tunes)
- Arya Stark (Game of Thrones)
- Tom and Jerry (Tom and Jerry)
- Jake the Dog and Finn the Human (Adventure Time)
- Steven Universe and Garnet (Steven Universe)
The game is also filled with multiplayer bouts that can be set against the backdrop of various environments such bas Batman’s Batcave, Jake and Finn’s Tree Fort and much more. Multiversus is scheduled for a Worldwide release on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC in 2022.
